The Teaching Studio, is situated in Sunningdale/Bloubergstrand and home to Melissa Barker Ceramics (my private work) as well as my ceramic teaching studio, residency studio and gallery.

 

The Porcelain studio is a teaching studio for beginner to advanced porcelain students, as well as home to artists that don't have access to their own studio.

We specialise in porcelain slip casting, hand building, sculpture and functional pottery. 

​

We offer group classes, workshops, residencies, short term mentorship and team building. 

​

The studio also boast a beautiful fully equipped kitchen, pizza oven, outside entertainment area and a large organic vegetable garden.
